Dark Ace (SR:93, 6/1) is one of the two joint top-rated horses but carries only 9-5, a meaningful weight advantage over Kerdos (9-8) and Sir Les Patterson (10-5). The horse has DistFit:+ and GoingFit:+ — the only runner with confirmed fitness across both today's trip and going — and the market has steamed 34% in from its opening price, the sharpest move in the field by a considerable margin. The form string 113300 shows three wins from six runs but a run of 0s since; however, at 13 days since last run it is quickly back and the market clearly believes it is ready to bounce back.
