Ata Rangi (SR 91, 11/4) is the clear class leader in this field by a meaningful margin — 6 points clear of the next-best Rhoscolyn (SR 85) — and carries a manageable 9-11, not top-weight. The market has strongly confirmed the case: a 33% inward move from opening price is significant money talking. Course form is outstanding — W2P2 at Haydock — which is a specialist track edge that matters, especially on Heavy going where local knowledge and track familiarity play out. The drop of one class (ClassMv:↓1) also suits, and Ed Walker (15%, 883 runners) is a respected handler with Tom Marquand in the saddle, one of the most accomplished jockeys in the field. The GoingFit:- flag is a genuine concern — Ata Rangi has a poor record on today's going bucket — but the class, course affinity, and market confidence override that caveat in a field where no rival offers a cleaner profile.
