Hygge (SR:83, 7/1) is the joint-highest SR in the field alongside Indigo Dream, but carries 11-12 versus Indigo Dream's 11-11 — a negligible weight difference — while offering a meaningful market contrast: Hygge has steamed in 9% while every other runner has drifted, some heavily (Clonmacash out 28%, Alfred Tennyson out 28%, Tolebi out 35%). The Gordon Elliott/Harry Swan combination (trainer 18% strike rate, jockey 18% strike rate) is top-drawer for an amateur riders' handicap at Laytown, and the MarkMv:-37 signals this horse is running off a dramatically reduced mark compared to its last win, giving the handicapper every reason to have left it well-in.
