Mr Fox says

Gentle Ocean (SR:155, 6/4) is head-and-shoulders above this field on ability — a SR of 155 in a Class 4 novice hurdle is exceptional, fully 43 points clear of the next-best A Chara (SR:112). The 24% market move inward confirms strong professional confidence, and Sam Twiston-Davies (17% career strike rate, 1002 career rides) is a high-quality booking for a yard that knows how to place horses. Carrying only 11-3 is reasonable for a horse of this calibre, and the lightweight field means no punishing weight burden. The limited form line (Form:2-) shows just two career runs with a second on debut, consistent with a lightly-raced horse being placed carefully for a big win. Each-way alternative: A Chara. Main danger: Time In A Bottle — Time In A Bottle (SR:106, 11/2) has a confirmed GoingFit:+ on today's good ground and is trained and ridden by the powerful Skelton combination (22%/26% strike rates), giving it the best possible handling if Gentle Ocean underperforms on its first run over this trip.
