Mr Fox’s call
You're Sensational
SPECULATIVE Advised 11/4 Est. 30%
Mr Fox says
You're Sensational (SR 150, 11/4) holds the joint-highest SR in the field alongside Keithaar, but crucially the market has steamed in 19% — meaningful money from a top yard in John & Thady Gosden (24% strike rate, 1490 runners) with Robert Havlin aboard. Despite stepping up one class, the Gosden operation rarely send a debutant runner that ran fifth with this level of SR into a novice without confidence, and the market support directly contradicts any bearish reading of that single run. Against Keithaar (SR 150, 10/3 joint-favourite), the drift of 21% is a material red flag: same SR, same class step, but the money is clearly moving away from Botti's filly and toward Gosden's. With all other contenders carrying SRs of 129 or below, and no runner showing proven distance or going fitness, SR + stable support + steaming market makes You're Sensational the standout selection. Each-way alternative: Hidden Beyond. Main danger: Keithaar — Keithaar shares the top SR of 150 and Marco Ghiani is a capable pilot, so raw ability alone keeps her live despite the 21% drift — if the market drift reflects a minor fitness or tactical concern rather than true lack of confidence, she remains capable of running You're Sensational close.
