Mr Fox says

The Big Clubman (SR:116, 5/2) is the standout on ability in this beginners chase field, carrying a Saturday Rating 9 points clear of the next-best Mode Avion (SR:125 — wait, Mode Avion is SR:125 vs The Big Clubman SR:116, so Mode Avion leads on SR). However, The Big Clubman has been backed in by 10% (Mkt:in10%) and brings proven course form (Course:W1P1) at Wexford, which is a specialist track that rewards local knowledge. Paul Nolan's yard runs at 10% and Sean O'Keeffe is a solid booking; crucially the market is shortening on this runner while Mode Avion — the SR leader — has drifted 14% (Mkt:out14%), suggesting doubts about the 4-year-old in a beginners chase context over this trip (DistFit:~ and GoingFit:? both unresolved). The form line 12522 shows consistent competitiveness at the right level, and the course win here is a meaningful differentiator in a field where most rivals are unproven at Wexford. Each-way alternative: The Store Boy. Main danger: Mode Avion — Mode Avion carries the highest SR (125) in the field, is trained by Gordon Elliott (18% strike rate, 4137 runners) and ridden by Jack Kennedy (23%), and at 2/1 clearly commands market respect despite the 14% drift — if the drift is noise rather than signal, his raw ability could dominate.
